When she’s not listening to her favorite true crime podcasts on a loop, she’s serially dating a rotation of women from dating apps. At the same time, she’s trying to forge a new relationship with her estranged half-sisters after the death of her absent father. When she unwittingly plunges into her first serious romantic entanglement, Enid starts to believe that someone is following her. As her paranoia spirals out of control, Enid must contend with her mounting suspicion that something is seriously wrong with her. Because at the end of the day there’s only one person she can’t outrun—herself. "I love the title, but then all her interesting facts were coping mechanisms for her mental health issues. The whole book was too dark for me"

"I read the author’s original book in 2021 when it came out and despite the title, it is not about interesting facts about space, it’s about a millennial who has a special interest in space and her love language is infodumping Interesting Facts About Space lol. This book is about a messy sapphic who has a lot going on. This book has so much heart. Has a disabled character who is not sure why she can’t remember bits of her teens and starts thinking somebody is following her and for some reason thinks it’s her bald next door neighbor. (Bald is the part that freaks her out.) and her attempts at love are so fleeting that when she finds someone who actually likes her and is falling in love with her, she thinks she needs to protect them from the monster inside. This book is so powerful because of how relatable it is. Millennials having to grow up too fast and being diagnosed as autistic in their late twenties. It’s ****** and Emily Austin may be the author to watch out for! It’s so great to see a character that is so complicated. "
"3.5
Relatable and pretty good. Some quotes really stuck out to me. I feel the same way about this book as I did about ‘Everyone In This Room Will Someday Be Dead’. The end felt very abrupt. It started to feel a bit stagnant and then it was suddenly over. I thought the treatment process was really interesting and would’ve liked to experience her journey as she’s healing and how that affects the relationships with the people in her life.
I appreciate this book for pulling me out of my reading slump. I think I just enjoy books that are more plot driven rather than character driven if that makes sense."
"I wasn’t too sure about this book at first, but after the quarter mark found myself drawn in. I appreciated the accurate portrayal of Enid’s mental health issues, as well as the effects of mental health on her from others. I loved how it ended, and thought things tied together nicely. I felt like everything was so normalized in the book, and think that can be helpful for someone else struggling."
"Emily Austin has a way of writing characters that are at once relatable and entirely their own. This novel is propelled forward by the main character, Enid’s story, but the other character’s stories are just as compelling.
I’m so happy there are authors like Emily who can write fiction that speaks to so many people and help them find a bit of themselves as they read.
I will be recommending this book to my daughters and my friends- but they can buy their own copy, because I’m hanging on to mine so I can read it again."
"Unique, cute, quirky! I was skeptical at first, but ended up being so invested I read 200 pages in one night! Loved the ending and what I gleaned was the overall message of the story!"
