""Excuse me, I am capable of watching the Kardashians and reading books. They're not mutually exclusive activities."<br/><br/>I feel like this particular quote was written for me, and I love it. I get **** for my love for reality TV, and frequently hear about how it's ruining the world and making people dumber, or whatever other nonsense assholes like to say. Yes, I love watching people being ridiculous on TV, but I also read almost 300 books last year, and have a college degree, so y'all can kiss my ass. I feel like this is a main point of Next Level Basic, and I appreciate the sentiments that Stassi expressed in the book. <br/><br/>This book was comforting to me, and I had fun reading it. It's not perfect, but I enjoyed it. I could have done without some of the charts and graphs, and I skimmed a bit, but it was entertaining. I loved the encouragement to embrace what you enjoy & of care what anyone else thinks. This book is a good pick-me-up, and I'll probably read it again one day. Now I'm off to watch Vanderpump Rules again!"

"I believe Stassi & Kristen were acting in revenge of a friend that was hurt and didn't even care about her race. I don't think what then did was right, but I don't believe it was race motivated. I believe Faith wanted her 15 mins of fame again. I think Stassi has grown in the last couple of years and I think all this was blown out of proportion. VPR, knew about this 2 yrs ago, why didn't they fire her then? I love Stassi and will watch any show she is on."
