"The world building in this… it is AMAZING. It holds many interesting concepts, from the bakery to the jobs given to seers; and the characters are so complex - you can really feel what’s important to them and why. Not to mention the importance of bisexual/biromantic representation through the main character! Truly an amazing tale for the ages."

"For as long as this is, I felt the plot was pretty thin. There's magic and some council that's their government but we don't get any explanation for how it works or even what Ray does as a job, yet they require a memory wipe, which seemed pretty severe especially since this is presented as a cute, fantasy romance. I was surprised they were only in high school in the beginning since they read as 20-year-olds to me. I was glad that Laurie's lack of personality is addressed in the last third and has an explanation. I wish they had shown more moments with her mom since I was confused why she was so worried about talking with her.

The artwork is the best part--it's beautiful, which is why it's a shame how blurry it is in some frames. Overall a cute story that has some bittersweet moments about life choices."
