"I was so happy to read this book!! I had no expectations going into it and upon finishing it I was so pleased to read something that had so many great things!!

First, this book comes from the perspective of the crayons in the child’s crayon box. At first it may seem strange but the letter they write to the owner are such a good example of how children can communicate with others when they have a problem with something!

Second, I loved that other than just being upset about one thing. The crayons each have different complaints and also have some of their own potential solutions for them! What a great example to set for kids! If you have a problem, try thinking of some things that might help to resolve it! The problem does not have to be solved solely by whomever you are working with.

Third, the ending! I loved that at the end of the book the child in this story takes all the advice the crayons have given him and takes it to create a beautiful and creative picture that has been inspired by ideas that the crayons gave him. Some things do not have to be ‘realistic’ and some things can be more ‘fantasy’!

Overall this book is wonderful and will hopefully help more children express themselves through creativity as well as when they need to express to others when they are not happy about something! Conflict resolution through crayons! Who knew!!??"
