"Really sweet ya book, with some serious topics"

"I’m a little torn about this one. There were elements of the story that I liked, especially when it came to depicting how real and challenging it is to deal with depression and racism, but the ending just didn’t sit well with me all that much. I feel like there were still some loose ends to give the book the right kind of closure it deserved after so much intensity among the characters. Book is good for a casual and easy read though. "
