"Full of quirky characters, snark, and shenanigans, this is possibly one of my favorite series of all time. I wouldn't call it scifi exactly as it takes place a millennia or two after the space ship involved landed/crashed and was lost and forgotten about under muck and water. Tech level of the locals has only reached steampunk/late 1800 to early 1900s levels."
