Little Witch's Big Night

"My now 26 year old daughter adored this funny (not scary) series of books and insisted we had to hang a bat up every year on Halloween along with our witch because Little Witch has a bat named Scrubby. The books are very cute and the issues that are brought up are quite relatable to kids (with a witch twist- like Little Witch is punished for being too good!) or when she struggles to learn a witch skill, like broomstick riding. They are easy readers that are a fun read and illustrated by Marc Brown who wrote & illustrated the Arthur books (The PBS TV show). "
