Now that her grandmother is selling the boardwalk hotel that’s been in their family for five decades, Cassie returns to the quaint beach town to spend time with family, ring in her twenty-first birthday...and maybe find herself a summer fling. On her first night in town, she finds the perfect candidate: Tate Bartlett, Avalon Bay’s fun-loving golden boy.Tate, sailing instructor and lovable player, is no stranger to flings. In fact, he’s always down for a good time. But the moment he meets Cassie, he knows she’s not the girl you play games with. Soon, his attraction to Cassie becomes impossible to ignore. He wants that fling now. Big-time.And maybe even something more. "4.5/5 dual pov. Im never disappointed when reading an Elle Kennedy book. This one was my favourite of the three books in the interconnected stand alone series! I love a quarkie fmc and Cassie is so funny. I also liked how the conflict wasn't really between the main characters. Also enjoyed the character development for both main characters. This book had some spice and lots of implied scenes and mention of sex but not a ton of open book scenes but the on page spice was good 2/5 spice level. "
"read this in a day! Love Elle Kennedys work and ability to make you truly fall in love with characters and a story. Officially a tate girl."

"3.5/5 stars

I was able to read this for free thanks to Net Galley, although that does not affect my opinion of the actual book. I’ll be honest and admit that it took me a second to get into this book, however as I continued to read the book, my interest grew. There’s something about Elle Kennedy and how she is able to capture a readers attention. While the ending wasn’t necessarily my favorite and there were parts I struggled to read due to it being a bit triggering to past memories, I did enjoy the book. It brought new moments of the Hartley twins, of Mackenzie and Genevieve. It allowed me to learn more about Tate, who becomes the main character, rather than someone on the sidelines, like the last two books in the series."
