"If you’re looking for an easy, low stakes, Hallmark story with a helping of spice…and I’m not just talking about pumpkin…look no further. Ultra predictable (but that’s the point, right?) and giving all the cozy Fall vibes, this book hits like a mug of caramel apple cider: warm and sweet. Logan has got some serious abandonment issues but dispite my least favorite trope: miscommunication, you know you are guaranteed your HEA. Looking forward to reading more from the “Dream Harbor” series."

This book goes perfectly with that chilly, cozy Fall morning with a pumpkin spice latte in hand and a plate of donuts.<br/><br/>I recommend this book to all those who wished they lived in a town like Star Hollow and were rooting for Lorelai and Luke from the start. Grab your coffee and a donut, go sit in that little cafe, and dive in.<br/><br/>I would describe this as a quick read because the author’s writing is easy to digest. You will be rooting for the main characters throughout the whole book. The author does a great job of developing side characters that you will also fall in love with. I plan to continue the side characters’ stories in the three other books in Laurie Gilmore’s Dream Harbor series. Jeanie and her life are so relatable. She goes through ups and downs. She’s a little messy…but who isn’t. This book gave me that warm fuzzy feeling. I didn’t want the story to end.<br/><br/>"

"This is a great book if you're looking for a quick, light, fun read for the fall season. <br/><br/>Some parts of the book were a little awkward and cringey but I don't think that's the end of the world. I really enjoyed this book and fell in love with the town of Dream Harbor and all of its residents. I think Jeanie and Logan are super cute together and I'm super interested in seeing some of the other foreshadowed couple pairings get together, so I will definitely read the second book (at least, maybe all the rest, too)."
