"Just re-read it for the 4th time. This is probably my favorite standalone book I’ve ever read. It’s a hidden beauty. The writing is defiantly written like a YA novel, but the story, and the characters are amazing. It shows mental health accurately, and overall the book is well done. It also has a cute fluff love side story. I highly recommend!!!!"

"I was a bit bothered by the way Vicky’s mother handled her struggles. She was insulting and insensitive, belittling Vicky and making her feel like her problems were not real. It was pretty clear her mental health needed to be addressed, and therapy or medication likely would have been more beneficial than trying to force her to do things that made her extremely uncomfortable. But she does eventually correct her poor behaviour, and the story was really great. It was so uplifting, and included some really important themes."
"This book is beautiful. Vicky is basically me. I could’ve wrote this book myself it’s so accurate. It is my all time favorite book, and I love Lipton ;) Honestly, I need a Lipton in my life. The way he helps her and comforts her when she’s nervous, and the way the author writes about social anxiety is amazingly accurate and extremely touching if you ask me. I have social anxiety so this book definitely hit home for me. All time favorite. "
"I feel this book is amazing for shining light on mental illness without romanticizing it. Personally, I have struggled with depression and anxiety for a lot of my life. I feel the author does an AMAZING job embodying these mental illnesses in its characters. I feel this book is great for teenagers and young adults as it shows everyone has things they go through that they hide. You’re not alone!! Couldn’t recommend enough! "
