Each character had their own unique personality and of course, secrets. <br/>Whenever I thought the story would go one way, I was hit by another twist, secret, and/or lie. Fault Lines is spooky, dark and so entertaining! <br/>This adult mystery is a twisty tale about a girl who goes missing and the price of the truth. It is also set in Canada, which is another big plus for me! <br/><br/>I would recommend this for anyone looking to get sucked in an enthralling story which will keep you guessing till the end.<br/>I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review."

"I feel… unsatisfied. So basically she choses her children instead of love because she can’t have both? She has to put up with a husband who pays her no mind because leaving him to be with someone who loves her back is… not happiness??? but yes it is??<br/><br/>I get this speaks to Japanese societal roles and whatnot but such a big turn in this book is her overcoming what is expected of her in Japanese tradition and society, but yet she is unable to overcome the final obstacle and put herself first over what is expected of her as a mother. ugh. the children will be fine!! you CAN have both girl"
