"An ultimatum from her professor thrusts Summer Preston into an unexpected collision with hockey captain Aiden Crawford. She's caught in a delicate balance between fulfilling her lifelong dream of becoming a sport psychologist and veering far away from this god-awful sport. For Aiden Crawford, being the captain of the college hockey team has its perks, except when a reckless mistake by his team threatens to jeopardize their entire season. Consequently, his coach nominates him as the subject of a research paper. It's the last thing he wants to do, especially since the girl leading the project looks like she could wield his skates as a weapon. Summer can't stand his blasé approach to life, and Aiden doesn't understand her uptight, scheduled one. They are off to a rocky start, and provoking each other is what they do best, but defeat isn't something either of them is willing to accept." -- Back cover.

This book was so much fun! Hockey romance just hits different, and I am soooo here for it! Summer and Aiden were such a cute couple! Their bickering and bantering was top tier! I need an Aiden of my own! He was so sweet and caring, plus adorably protective of both his friends and Summer! Perfect book boyfriend material! I also loved Aiden's friend group! Kian is definitely my favorite, he was so freaking cute! And the part where Kian and Dylan crashed Summer’s date was hilarious! I liked that there was no dramatic third act breakup. The only part I didn't like was when Summer threw a little hissy fit when Aiden was trying to be a gentleman. I mean, who doesn't want a gentleman??? The epilogue and the bonus scene were both ridiculously adorable! College setting, enemies to friends with benefits to lovers, black cat girlfriend x golden retriever boyfriend, forced proximity, slow burn, he falls first, dual POV, and VERY spicy!!!🔥🌶️🥵 If you're a fan of Hannah Grace and/or Elle Kennedy then this book is a must read! 10/10 would recommend! I already can't wait for the next book!"
