"Evie ruined this fkin book for me. She is judgmental and a misogynist.

Prepare yourself for an insufferable heroine suffering from SEVERE internalized misogyny and an obnoxious lack of self-love.

Her favorite word is ****, it seems. Cause she uses it against every woman she meets, at every turn.

Every single woman in this book who are not her, are ***** or *insert other misogynistic slutshaming term here.*

And sometimes she is very creative with it too! I think she refered to a girl as Miss *****-a-lot or something.

It's impressive really...

I give you, ladies and gents, one of her best quotes:

"MEN LIKE YOU ARE THE REASON GOD MADE *****."

Evie, baby, what does that mean...?

Are you quite alright?

Also she is incredibly insecure, and every woman in the book is "a threat" to her, even her best friend...

Evie has ZERO desirable trait, and spends the majority of the book staying with a dude she started dating at 14, who is clearly cheating on her and treating her like trash, while she is allegedly "falling in love" with the hero and spending her nights and days putting down other women and being so degrading towards herself as well.

It's so sad to see.

Look, cheating is not ideal in romance books of course, and I rather not have it at all, but if it has to happen, I would prefer no one cheats on the heroine, and if someone has to cheat on the heroine, it DEFINITELY cannot be the hero...

This was a mild case of cheating here because Storm gets a ******* from one of the women working for his band. I hated it.

Nobody likes cheating in romance books. Authors need to stop."
