"This three star review does not mean I did not enjoy reading this book, on the contrary I got through it pretty quickly and was pretty sure I knew the ‘who’ behind this mystery from the beginning. That being said, I could not figure out the why because not many clues were given as to why.
In some regards this book was brilliant, in others it lacked originality. I did think the aspect of an artist as a character was intriguing, I also was pulled in by all the slight variations of the truth that continued to be told; as well as the blatant lies.
Would I read this again? Probably not. I don’t think there would be a need to. I feel like I can remember the majority of the book without needing to reread it. Would I recommend it? Potentially; to someone who wanted a quick read, something in mystery and whodunit…maybe was curious about a more classic writer and hadn’t read MHC.

I will definitely read one or two other books of hers to see if any others are worthwhile but I can’t say I think I will be reading all that she has put out to read."

"Really slow start. I enjoyed the last 50 or so pages the most of the entire book."
