"This was a cute YA romance and hits the typical beats you’re expecting from the genre. I thought some of the writing became clunky at times and sentences when spoken aloud were confusing and jammed with too much information. I liked the relationship between Hannah and Jacob, but I think the author was trying to focus on too many relationships at once. I don’t feel like I understand her relationship with her dad, sister, or mother very well and all of those were brought up on multiple occasions. TLDR: this novel was fun, it just was missing a couple things.

Thank you to the publisher for the advanced copy in exchange for an honest review."
