"I enjoyed moments of this book. I think Thrawn as a character has been developed to be so much more than he was in this series, but this book really emphasized how much of a villain he is. And Timothy Zahn has grown immensely as a writer. I struggle to recommend a book that doesn't really matter in the greater Star Wars narrative but it is very fun as a "What If" "
