Bad boy quarterback + good girl matchmaker = sexy, scary, beautiful mess Maddie McRae earns her living helping other people fall in love. Dubbed the "Wedding Whisperer" due to her success getting couples down the aisle, the professional matchmaker knows the foundation of wedded bliss is built on similarities. Opposites might attract, but they don't stay together. Enter Mason Spark. Rude, arrogant, and notoriously allergic to monogamy, the hottest quarterback in the NFL is Maddie's polar opposite. He's also her new client. Her gorgeous, infuriating new client who's paying her an outrageous sum of money to find him a fake wife. With his multi-million-dollar contract at risk due to his bad behavior on and off the field, Mason is willing to pretend to settle down. But when he starts to fall for the adorkable matchmaker who can't stand him, the playboy finds himself in the game of his life to keep something he never thought he'd lose... His heart.

"<strong>Complete garbage </strong><br/><br/>I saw a bunch of 5 star reviews and jumped right in. Big mistake. Just another author regurgitating a disgusting leading man. In addition to the usual growling, wallowing in self pity, grabbing the woman by her arm and dragging her all over the place (so hard in one scene that she actually cries out in pain. So romantic), constantly mocking and ridiculing her, this author ups the ante and actually just has Mason constantly freak out and literally scream in Maddie's face. Of course this is a romance book and he's good looking so Maddie ignores his toxic behavior and falls in love with him because really deep down he's a good guy. Right. I will never get on board with romanticizing abusive, controlling men. Never gonna happen. Another huge disappointment from a romance novel with zero romance but an unending account of Mason's state of arousal. Pass."

"The characters are just all perfect, with a perfect build up and perfect ending too, IMHO. Hope you agree! I love re-reading it about once a year, it's that good. Their vulnerability and connection is touching and endearing, flawless even. She's the ideal strong and tender h, while he's the beautifully flawed hero."
