"A Steep Price is the sixth book in the Tracy Crosswhite series, and once again, Robert Dugoni provided good mysteries.

This book has two stories occurring in alternating chapters - one is a case that Tracy is working on, and another is a case that Faz is working on. We get a lot more time with Faz & Del in this book. I don't necessarily love them, but I don't dislike them, either. I'm just kind of indifferent toward them & prefer Tracy's storylines.

I was worried about what it was going to be like with Tracy being pregnant - I like the procedural part of this series, and I wasn't looking forward to pregnancy dominating the book. However, it ended up just being a side portion, and it was fine. I'm not sure what the next book is going to be like, though.

As usual, I was wrong about who committed the crime, so I was kept guessing until the end. I enjoyed trying to figure out what was going on. Overall, this was a solid edition to the series, and I can't wait to read book 7!"
"Another fantastic addition to the series! I liked the focus on Faz (much like Del got in the last book) and of course I love revisiting the rest of the Team A! I’ll be curious to see if the series continues, especially since there is a new character to consider. I certainly hope it does!"
