"I found “4th of July” to lack something that I can’t quite describe from the first three WMC books but it certainly picks itself up. I’m a sucker for James Patterson so I was optimistic about it to begin with but as the story continues the novel is just another example of why I love Lindsey. Patterson is a master at creating characters not because they are larger than life but because they are in fact the complete opposite."
