This was really good lol. Some of the same issues though, with the whole decision making between the characters. I completely agree with Luke in calling Clary a spoiled, whiney brat. She definitely acted as if everyone was against her during the first half of this book. She really screwed up with making that portal, especially when she doesn't know the extent of her powers and the consequences of her actions even though, both magnus and luke explained to her what they were. Poor Simon getting hurt and nearly dying, and then getting thrown into prison because the clave wants to put blame on the whole lightwood family and Jace especially. The clave became extremely corrupted over the years lol. Jace was also being a huge brat with lying to everyone about Clary not wanting to go anymore, like dude come on don't do that. I really didn't like the fact that once something important was going to be said, the person always gets cut off. It really bothered me. I will agree with Jonathan in saying that Jace was stupid lol. I even knew that Jace wasn't valentines son, he's a herondale. AND HA! I KNEW IT!! He just has the same "death wish" charisma that all herondales have lol. Also the star mark was a dead giveaway, but that leaves the question of Clary and her mom having it too. So are they siblings of some kind?🤔. Also, poor max! He didn't deserve to die, he was just a little boy, who got pushed to the side during the whole book😭😭. I know theres still more I want to say but for some reason I can't think of it right now lol. I feel like this was a good ending for a trilogy and I'm not sure if Cassandra meant for it to be just 3 books but this would've been fine, but some things are obviously left unsaid or unfinished. I need the next 3 books, before I can read the dark Artifices."
