"I enjoyed The Stone Witch of Florence by Anna Rasche. It took me a while to get invested in the story, as the beginning felt a bit slow. However, once I got past the initial pages, the adventures and the magic woven into the narrative became more engaging. The topics explored, like resilience in the face of a pandemic and the unique use of gemstone magic by Ginevra, were truly fascinating. That said, I wasn’t entirely a fan of the writing style in this particular book. While the plot and characters were intriguing, I felt that the writing didn’t quite pull me in as much as I hoped. Overall, it’s a solid read with captivating moments, even if it didn’t completely resonate with me."
