Even though those days are long behind them now, each remaining person is shattered to find out that Harold Crawley, Jacob's son, has just been found dead, apparently the victim of a drowning, although his body was found in a tobacco field, miles from any water. The members of the group reunite at Harold's funeral, only to find that they are being murdered, one by one, each in the way that he or she most feared dying-the same way that Jacob Crawley predicted they would meet their deaths.
