"Thank you to NetGalley, Diane Chamberlain, and St. Martin's Press for an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Big Lies in a Small Town tells the story of 2 women artists who work on a mural in a small town decades apart and how their lives are intertwined. Anna was a young woman who was a talented artist and won a contest to paint a mural for a post office in a small town in the 1960s - and her story explores the bigotry, difficulties, and also the friendships she finds there. Morgan has now been released from jail in order to restore Anna's old and unfinished painting. During the course of this, she becomes intrigued by Anna's story and sets out to find out the truth behind what happened to her decades ago. I was immediately drawn into this novel and enjoyed how the story played out. It was an engrossing and interesting read and I became invested in finding out what happened to these two women and how they were connected. Very much enjoyed the book."
