"I greatly enjoy the way he goes in depth with his scientific research in writing his books. It is a large part of the reason I keep reading them. This one was particularly fun for the historical aspect as well. The movie is... acceptable, at best. "

"The story telling hits you hard, and you can't get enough after the first-second chapters, a book of time travel with a VERY interesting twist on the idea of how it works, destroying and recreating your body on a different area of the world, in a different time.Almost right off the bat you'll notice the story telling is pretty brutal, and not everyone will survive."

"I have read all of his books. The thirteenth warrior (also sold as Eaters of the Dead) was fascinating. It combined Inn Fadlan's journeys with Vikings (called Rus), and the epic poem Beowulf. Another great one was the Andromeda strain. It had you on the edge of your seat! Crichton is my favourite all around author. I loved all of his books!"
