"I originally thought this was a horror novel for some reason, so my expectations were a little different. It's definitely a thriller / mystery instead, and it won me over quickly. <br/><br/>The story was creative and mysterious, and I love how everything unfolded. It was so interesting and suspenseful. I'm not going to say much because of spoilers, but I highly recommend adding this to your TBR if you're looking for a twisty thriller / mystery!<br/><br/>CW - parental neglect, statutory rape"
