"
It wasn’t a horrible book persay, But I definitely wouldn’t recommend. Not how I expected it to end. I was expecting a plot twist and none came. It kept my interest just because I needed to know what the jury decided on her. I felt like the author could have done better. And I just felt like it was very much lacking something. "
"I could not put this down. I found this book very interesting. I had a lot of mixed emotions reading. #fiction #drama #law_and_crime "

"<i>After</i> is a very well crafted book, which I find to be rare when reading YA. The dialogue is authentic and actually adds to the characterization and the plot. I finished the book in one sitting and never found myself skimming to the next good part. For the first time ever, I find the fact that I am not a member of the target audience for the book actually had an effect on me. I don't believe the subject matter could have or should have been handled any differently, in fact, while I initially found some of the devices annoying, the mental state of the main character is exceptionally well developed. All in all, this is a very good read that waits until the very last page to give any hint as to the ending, and it is very quick paced. I don't recommend jumping into this book without knowing what you are reading about, but if you're game for the subject matter, this is a good, quick, well written read."
"Took a good minute to read this book. Started out slow and drawn out but at the same time kept me wanting to know more. It very well could be a true story and a very sad one at that. It touches on the relationship a young girl has with her mom and how it affects her on a very deep level. The ending was nit very good in my opinion but made sense based on how the main character felt during the story."
