"Well this beautiful novella wrapped this series up perfectly! I love the way Gayle Foreman writes. I am not normally one enjoys 3rd person but she does it so eloquently. I love how we get so many perspectives as well! I’ve already read (and loved!) the If I Stay series and after this I will be a fan for life!"

"I enjoyed my time reading this and the second book. I thought it was cute! I kind of related to the character (how her and I both acted at 18). I also appreciated the character development. It’s an easy read and definitely something I would have ready during high school- not sure how old you are, but I’m kind of over the high school teen love! This was a little better because she was a senior and then eventually went into her freshman year or college! I’d recommend it to anyone 😊"

"I am glad that this exists. While I could have survived with the ending in [b:Just One Year|12842134|Just One Year (Just One Day, #2)|Gayle Forman|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1375129683s/12842134.jpg|17992883], I enjoyed this. I read some complaints about the 3rd person narration, alternating between characters. But I thought it felt right. I think it would have been more jarring if it went back and forth from the 1st person perspective. Some people also complained about Willem's sudden obsession with Allyson's feet, but I found that hilarious. And I hate feet! It was endearing. The only "bad" thing I can think of to say was that this felt a little like fanfiction to me. So focused on lust and what not. But I don't really think it was that bad. I liked how it ended. It was a nice, relaxing, fluffy read; in fact I read the second book and this short story in one afternoon."
