"Man, this book was ******* grim. Gave up at 50%. Started reading "Let's Pretend This Never Happened" by Jenny Lawson to cheer myself up.

And I mean, the writing's good. But this kid just cannot catch a break. Persecuted, tortured, ignored. I quit when there were needles being shoved in fingers. Just...nope. Time to be done."
"When it started off in 2nd person perspective I was really concerned it would suck but it was a great read. Author really knows how to manipulate perspective to portray the characters mental state. Really felt like I was in the head of a really unfortunate and pretty mentally scarred teenage boy. Couldn’t help but root for him even when his actions are seriously questionable."
"This book, as well as the next two in the trilogy, have become my favorite. It’s insanely gripping and a real page turner with the best love triangle I’ve ever read. The pain, love, and loss in this book is so well written without being overly cheesy or constant. Please read it and let me know your thoughts!"
