"** SPOILERS **
Okay…not to pat myself on the back but I was right about Cleo and the baby situation (and if I were Farrah I’d sock her) Moving on…Blake had a lot of internal conflict going on throughout this and so did Farrah but I think Blake’s side got my attention more because everyone’s found themselves in a situation like Blake’s (maybe not the baby or cheating. but feeling like THAT person deserves better) Although there were times I wanted to smack them both and just tell them to get over themselves (okay im a bit physical in my mind while reading…i think i get too engaged) When you kept reading you found yourself rooting for them and hoped they’d figure sh!t out sooner or later. I think the author did a great job at bringing reality in this, because this is how slow and painful reality is. Finding out Cleo lied about the baby being Blake’s and how she had acted like he cheated on Farrah was diabolical and not in a funny way. I personally don’t know how Blake kept his cool when she finally admitted to him (maybe im just a harda$$ but just because Cleo wanted to empty her dirty closet doesn’t mean she gets the satisfaction of forgiveness because she felt it was now right to own up to what she’d done) Just imagine how different things could’ve gone if Cleo hadn’t done what she did. Would they have been better or worse? Would they have been as successful? Would they have been just as in love? Would they have felt loved when they desperately needed it instead of the anguish they were put through? I was just glad Blake kept showing up at her and Olivia’s apartment, even in the cold weather. The postcards were probably my favorite though. Little confessions and insight into who he was deeper.
However I’m not enthusiastic the rest of the series goes throughout the friend group, but I’m hopeful and will finish the series (I did love the friends in the group so I’m hoping I can muster through it)"
