I know how this story ends. And it's NOT with the best friends falling in love. Even if Chase checks all my boxes--and then some. He's the perfect guy, and he deserves the perfect girl. Which, to be clear, is not me. I knew one day I would have to let him go. I just didn't know it would be so soon. Or that my traitorous friend would be the one setting him up with a string of potential girlfriends. Now, I have an impossible choice to make... I can watch Chase find love with someone else. Or I can throw my hat in the ring and face my biggest fear, one not even he knows. One that might make him run for the Texas hill country. But if I don't make a play, I might lose my best friend and my only chance at love...

"I have really tried to fall in love with this series. It’s a great concept: a series following 5 friends who each have a different trope for their love story. And it’s so hard to find clean romance series. I’ll be the first in line for a cheesy, corny romance, but I just didn’t care for the writing style and storytelling. Having said that, this was my favorite one because of the FMC Harper and her story, one you don’t see often in romance novels. But even with that, so much of this book felt like it was “filling space” to make it longer. I listened to 3 of the 5 books on audiobooks and I didn’t like the narrators’ voices - may also be why I didn’t fall in love with it."
"Loved it thanks! I loved how Harper was written and how the author showed asperger syndrome and sensory issues. I loved that the author didn’t make it a flaw or something the Harper needed to “get over” I loved it. Quality writing"
