""I was the girl who survived the Nothing Man. Now I am the woman who is going to catch him."

The Nothing Man has such an interesting synopsis, and it grabbed my attention at the beginning. However, it ended up relying way too much on the true crime book chapters, and it was very dry. It was more of a procedural than I expected. I would have rather read an actual true crime book had I known this book was going to be like that.

CW - rape, sexual assault, sexual harassment, domestic abuse, possible suicide"
"To me, the ending can make or break a book. This has a good ending. Not overdoing it or leaving loose ends. I like a few twists, and although the ending becomes a little apparent- there was still one twist I didn’t see coming. One of the best books I have read in a while (not really saying much- the last 3 books were rubbish) "

"“As Dr. Weir had pointed out, the Nothing Man is an exceptionally apt name for a serial killer. "When you find him," she’d said to me, “you'll probably be shocked at just how much of a nothing he really is."”
4.5 ⭐️
This book was brilliant and unlike any other thriller I’ve ever read. The set up of getting to see both the survivor’s and the actual perpetrator’s point of view was so incredibly unique and raised the stakes from page one. Home invasion is one of my number one fears so this book often left me feeling freaked out (especially reading it at night). It’s safe to say the author is good at her job as I definitely won’t be getting much sleep tonight."
