"Took a chance on this and oh was it the best decision I made this Christmas. I....loved......Haf. She is unabashedly herself and the reason I couldn't put this book down. She was fun, wild, smart, and plus-size. Also for once the main character's size is not used for a plot device and what a breath of fresh air that was. Omg Haf I feel like we would be best friends.
This plot was quirky and hilarious. Even though Haf was so domineering she lost all brain function around a pretty girl haha it was the best. Christopher was a great fake boyfriend/friend. I adored their chemistry. He honestly felt like a big brother. And Kit a no-nonsense stiff kind of person turns out to have a fun side.
I really loved the dynamic here. Also, the dumb out-of-control lies they kept telling even though the truth would be loads simpler. It was hilarious to see the snowball grow bigger and bigger. Just like watching a bunch of teenage idgoit adults. And there was plenty of found family, traditions, and Christmas spirit. I had so much fun.
