"3.5⭐️
I kept going between 3 and 4 stars. It was good, but not great. I felt the struggle Bobby was going through and the whole time I felt like yelling “omg just stop”. Catherine wasn’t a character that I liked from the beginning. There was something about her that always felt off to me.
Some of Gardner’s other books are a lot better but this is the first of the DD Warren series. I had most of the plot line pegged by about a third of the way through. It’s a decent read if you need something and can pick it up for inexpensive but I would not go searching this one out."
