"Ugh FINALLY this took me entirely too long to finish.
Ok this actually was really good but it was so word heavy. I could pronounce like every three words but overall I kinda… loved it??? I got whiplash so bad from the slow burn and was kinda hurt by the end. Honestly tho I love a hurt little boy in a man’s body I will white knight tf out of him if I was Tala."

"Yet again, I'm sucked into a story that turns out to be an unfinished trilogy and now I have to impatiently wait for 2 years to know how they get to their happy ending. pretty slow start but worth it, if you like a snails pace burn, this is for you. It took me about 2/3 of the way to figure out we were heavily inspired by a Star w/Wars fan fic complete with an Empire that vaguely reminds one of the Nazis and a rebel group that seems to not stand a chance, and the MMC who bears a striking resemblance to... Adam Driver...who will win? Guess you'll find out. The world building was great, character development could use some work, but it is only the first book. 7/10."
