"A bit of a slow read but I really enjoyed this installment. I was reminded of Pride and Prejudice by the way in which the story covers day-to-day happenings of the women in this book. I definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys historical fiction. "

"Alicia: My Story would have to be my favorite book. The wolf Den I purchased at barnes and noble and a blind date with a book it is not something I would typically pick up for myself but I quite enjoyed it and am looking forward to the next one! Do you have a favorite horror novel?"

"this was pretty great. Sisterhood! ambition! Men! ugh. men really were the cause of all the problems in this book, but before I get carried away in a never-ending rant about how awful they are and how they've destroyed so many women’s lives just by wanting to get ******, I really have to say I liked all the women in the story. some of them weren't the sharpest or cleverest, and some were so desperate for love and affection they ended up desiring it from their own captors and villains, but in the end, Amara's story is of a girl who would do whatever it took to get out of an unbearable situation. And she did! She wasn't perfect, in fact, she came pretty close to losing herself a time or two, but that in no way makes her the bad guy. rather, she was a bad gyal! heh. okay I'm done. the ending was pretty bittersweet too, but in a good way I suppose, and I am a fan of that somewhat vague threat she made to Felix. This was a quality read out of all the trash I've been stuffing myself with this past while"
"HIGHLY RECOMMEND "
