With the threat of war looming, her only hope of saving the Trylle is to master her magical powers—and marry an equally powerful royal. But that means walking away from Finn, her handsome bodyguard who's strictly off limits...and Loki, a Vittra prince with whom she shares a growing attraction.Torn between her heart and her people, between love and duty, Wendy must decide her fate. If she makes the wrong choice, she could lose everything, and everybody, she's ever wanted...in both worlds. As a special gift to readers, this book contains a new, never-before-published bonus story, "One Day, Three Ways," set in the magical world of the Trylle.

"<strong>Not good...</strong><br/><br/>I really wanted to like this book. After reading the description I was super excited, which is probably why I am so disappointed. The book was super dragged out. There wasn’t enough conversation between the characters to keep you interested. Pages upon pages of the author explaining stuff or going over back story ended up getting boring. About 1/4 of the way in I started skipping to the parts where they would actually interact with each and after about half way I gave up entirely."
"It's been so long since I read it. I'm currently rereading the first book now. But I remember reading these as free ebooks. I loved them so much. "
