"I give Quinn 5* on the "annoying" and "dumb" scale.
There is a lot of unbelievable horrible stuff done to her. But her reactions sometimes are so so unreasonable.
This book is a mix of rape, more rape Quinns weird reactions and some sex.

90% of the problems Quinn and Tobias have could be fixed by communication. Sure manly alpha male thinks he doesn't need to talk. But all her stupid behaviour is because she overthinks, assumes and I just honestly.. I am so angry. I rarely get angry at a book."
"I was skeptical of reading Damaged. I wasn’t a fan of the first book in the duet. I needed to know what happened with Blair; I kept an open mind and went in. I knew going in it was going to more heavy and dark; I didn’t expect the majority of the book to be. I am not complaining; it’s part of the storyline and would negatively alter the book if it wasn’t.

Damaged is not what I expected. It’s so much more. Focused around mental health and the journey of feeling alive again. I love this book. I cried, laughed, and loved. Alexander is the best hero I have read in a while, and I am in awe of Briar's strength. There are some twists. I did see one coming and suspected another one. Only a tiny part of the second one. Plus so steamy. It’s freaking hot. I am down for sexual manipulation.

I will give a warning there are some triggers, so if your faint of heart, this book is not for you, and that is okay. But if you’re not, give this book a try. It’s my hidden gem. On my dark scale it’s medium grey."
