"I loved the first book but the second book felt shorter than the first. The story didn’t progress much in their friendship/relationship. I liked how fun and realistic the book is with the relationship but the second book made them go back to how they first were (strangers/classmates), when they already established they were friends now. Plus the weird relationship Hirose has with his teacher is disturbing and weird. No kid should be that comfortable to say “don’t you like me” while blushing and teacher responding with “ if you were a girl, what you did just now would a been pretty cute” or the fact the teacher is giving him rides home, buying food, and saying weird stuff as mentioned before. The whole nurse scene was uncomfortable and unnecessary. "
