"A laugh-out-loud funny romance with depth and heart, readers will love this spellbinding novel!" --Debbie Macomber, #1 New York Times bestselling author Is he the real deal...or did she truly summon a golem? Faye Kaplan used to be engaged. She also used to have a successful legal practice. But she much prefers her new life as a potter in Woodstock, New York. The only thing missing is the perfect guy. Not that she needs one. She's definitely happy alone. That is, until she finds her town papered with anti-Semitic flyers after yet another failed singles event at the synagogue. Desperate for comfort, Faye drunkenly turns to the only thing guaranteed to soothe her--pottery. A golem protector is just what her town needs...and adding all the little details to make him her ideal man can't hurt, right? When a seriously hot stranger mysteriously turns up the next day, Greg seems too good to be true--if you ignore the fact that Faye hit him with her bike. And that he subsequently lost his memory... But otherwise, the man checks Every. Single. Box. Causing Faye to wonder if Greg's sudden and spicy appearance might be anything but a coincidence.

"4.5⭐
This book was soooo cute and fun! The plot managed to be fun and humorous while also dealing with some very serious topics. The main characters were both so sweet, and they were really great together! Plenty of fluff, and a tiny bit of mild spice. Loved the diversity and disability representation, as well as the mental health representation! The only reason this book isn't five stars for me is because I really feel that it should have come with a list of trigger warnings. There were lots of mentions of domestic abuse, plus lots of racism/prejudice and hate crimes, which I totally wasn't expecting when I picked this book up. Everything was handled very well, which I appreciated, but I still would have liked a heads up. While there was nothing mentioned that triggered me personally, I know that that won't be the case for everyone who picks this book up. Forced proximity, amnesia, cinnamon roll MMC, small town setting, found family, slow burn, and dual POV! I'd totally recommend this book, but do your research first and find the trigger warnings!"
"An absolutely charming rom-com where the MMC isn’t just written by a woman but… maybe made by one, too? I inhaled this one over two nights and loved how close I felt to the characters. Faye is a FMC you 100% want to root for, and I loved the mental health, disability, and Jewish American representation. If you’ve ever worried that your imperfections will keep you from finding love, this is for you. I *am* taking one star off for a very important reason, though. This novel is much heavier than I anticipated, so be aware of that when going in. Much of the plot revolves around anti-Semitism + prejudice, and there’s some physical violence. I’m not taking the star off because these are poorly handled or “bad” inclusions, but because I just wish I’d had more of a heads up going in. Overall, this is a funny, charming, magical read that’ll have you debating whether you, too, should try crafting your perfect partner out of clay….or maybe that’s just me…? 😂"
