"Immediately after finishing this, I bought the 3rd book. Reminding me a lot of "lighter" Prince of Thorns, the universe that the author has created is fascinating as it's the type of science fiction, that could be believable. The main character Koli is relatable, learning about the world at the same pace the reader is. The second POV character, Spinner, is fascinating as you can see from her perspective, major events in the first book, without it seeming repetitive.

To add onto this, solutions that mankind created turning on their masters (trees), automated warfare that won't stop (drones), technology to put some humans over others (caste system). The combination of all these make for an enthralling book that I can't wait to see the conclusion of."
