"God Emperor of Dune by Frank Herbert 4/5 :star::star::star::star:
So I enjoyed this one about as much as the first book. It was finally about action and not just leading-up political and religious jargon. Some parts and characters I enjoyed, better than others. Nice to finally have a plot again after 3000 years."
"This was my favorite of the Dune Chronicles and I've read them all several times. I'm currently reading Dragon Age: Tevinter Nights which is a series of short stories set in the world of Thedas. This is also the setting of the Dragon Age video game series. I'm excitedly waiting for the fourth game - Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. The novels and short stories help satiate my need for more of this incredible world!"
"Peak fiction. It's my second favorite of the Dune series. I don't even know how this book has less than a 4 star rating. I guess the Dune community is pretty divided in their opinions on GeOD and I can see why because this novel is very unconventional. Personally, I wouldn't have it any other way. I loved this book so much that I read it all in a day. Herbert's views on our growing dependence of AI is more relevant than ever as of today (2024). Herbert touches on so many other timeless topics and themes through Leto II. This book is truly one of a kind. It's among one of my favorite sci-fi books to date. 5/5 stars."
"This is probably my favorite of the saga and quiet honestly I find it to be the most profoundly philosophical of the books."
