"Full disclosure. I gave this a 2 out of 5.
I don't hate this book per si. It is a nostalgic book from my childhood, so it still has a place in my heart. It is just not that great. Doesn't hold up. However, it is a fun, quick, brainless read. (I guess. If that even makes sense.) The main character is so annoying, though. I still can't help but share R.L Stine's books, even the worse ones, and let's face it, a lot of his books are problematic by today's standards."
