"I’m not a person who meditates so there were sections of this book that weren’t super helpful to me (mostly the guided meditations). However, everything else was enlightening. I’ve never thought of racism as a heart disease that spreads before. But that analogy really opened my eyes. King does an amazing job spitting sections into discussion with POC and discussion with white people. I felt like I gained a new point of view and could see the topics she brought up in my life. Reading this book made me more aware of how much effort needs to be put in for racist habits to change, but that change is achievable. I would recommend this book to everyone!"
