As anyone who saw the acclaimed film Chasing Amy will attest, up-and-coming director Kevin Smith has a deep appreciation of the comic book medium. So deep, in fact, that he took time away from his busy movie making schedule to write the monthly adventures of Daredevil for Marvel Comics.Blinded in an accident in his youth, attorney Matthew Murdock was also gifted with an enhanced "radar sense" that compensates for his blindness and enables him to prowl the mean streets of New York City at night. Clad in only a simple red costume, complete with horns, Daredevil strikes fear in the hearts of underworld members everywhere.
