"First 100 pages werent bad but they didnt captivate me and draw me in like the second hundred. I am obsessed with the middle of this book, it wouldnt allow me to put the book down. Like, the characters motivations and reasons and actions they took because of them felt just right, like it was actually THE character deciding it after coming to that conclusion themself. It didnt feel like the author was trying to push their own sort of agenda onto the characters or forcing a scene to happen. The only thing that felt slightly off was the husband drama but even that wasnt really notable. Overall it felt like this author understood their characters on a deeper level and I adored this book. It did feel like I was reading the Devil Wears Prada in book form but with a lot more lesbian in it."
