"Come Alive is the continuation of Olivia and David's story, starting three months after Olivia left David. Olivia is in a deep depression because of it and Davena's death. Olivia's husband Bill and her friend Gretchen are both trying to help her but they both believe that her depression only has to do with Davena but in truth the majority has to do with David. Gretchen only knows some things about David and Bill knows nothing. When all of the depression is brought up by Gretchen, Olivia vows to try harder to the the depression and become herself once more. It is not until David comes back into her life once again that she finds herself.

The majority of this novel focuses on Olivia and Bill's marriage problems which is a foreshadow for the ending. I believe the flaws in their marriage is what really lead her to David and the affair. The second part of this book was explosive and I was unable to put it down. After about halfway through, I finished the book in just a few hours. I am sad to say that it was not that way for the first half. In the beginning I just could not get into the book, it took me about three days for me to actually get engaged and I also put the book down and almost never returned to it. The fact that it was hard to engage in is the reason I couldn't give it five stars.

This is the second book in the series so that may be the reason for my disinterest. I am currently looking for a good deal on the first book so I can purchase it and hopefully gain more understanding about Olivia and David's relationship. I also am waiting for the third installment to come out so I can find out what happens with Bill and Olivia's relationship."
