"Honestly, this felt more like a comedy than any spooky /horror book I’ve read… When they tried to explain how electricity works and why ghosts can mess with it i almost died laughing. If you’re a tried and true believer this may come off as terrifying retelling. But to skeptical minds, or just anyone who is discerning you catch onto the “smoke and mirror” approach of the warrens and it turns from dark to down right comical."
