"I enjoy Neil Gaiman's work as a rule, but his comics are not always my thing (except, of course, for his Sandman work). While this isn't bad, it's basically an extended version of a What If? comic that wears out its welcome before the eight issues are completed. There are some plot inconsistencies and some events which don't make much sense. It's not helped by Andy Kubert's art, which, while fine, is rather unremarkable."
