"I really loved the way the author wrote this book to include small details that were huge hooking points.
The writing makes you question what happened two years ago while also making you wonder what is going on in Botswana. Gripping… so gripping!
For some reason, the end of the book didn’t quite end as spectacular as the rest of the book, which is why I couldn’t give it a full 5. There was try for an unsuspected unreliable character, but the suspicion was there all along. After the final reveal, the ending fell a little flat, but overall a worthwhile read. "
"This is my first book I have had the pleasure to read by this author and it did not disappoint.
Four lifelong friends, up until a couple years before when they broke up for unknown reasons to the reader is coming back together to celebrate a thirtieth birthday in Africa! All expenses paid and they all decided to throw caution to the wind and jump on the plane to meet the birthday girl. Each one has different suites and nobody else appears to be on this all inclusive vacation. I enjoyed the now and then timelines as the story began to unravel and we began to see the real reason the band broke up.

Female friendships can be wonderful at one moment, but you must always be careful of a woman left scorn."
"The story was interesting. I felt like it took a long time to lead up to the reveal and quickly ended after that"

"The story is told in 3 parts. Part 1: Insufferable. Hannah, Grace and Alice are literally all so boring that I couldn’t even differentiate them. It was almost as if the story was told from one point of view, not three, as they all just blended together in an unremarkable sea of grey. Part 2 & 3 got a lot more interesting, but unfortunately part 1 left a bad taste in my mouth that I just couldn’t get rid of. I never recovered."
