"Neal Shusterman is a brilliant writer that I greatly admire. His books are unlike any other author that I know. He is able to bring his character's to life and weave their stories into one. <br/><br/>I started to read The Skinjacker Series for one very simple reason: my name is Allie. After reading Unwind and absolutely falling head over heels in love with it ( no really I have an unhealthy obsession), I decided to give one of his other series a try. I am so glad that I did. <br/><br/>The Skinjacker Series is simply amazing. It is full of twists and turns that I never saw coming. Each character has a depth about them which truly allows for them to come alive. The end of the second book left me anxious to find out what was going to happen in the mystical land of Everlost. Mary is such an intricate character, full of evil but the so blindly believes that she is right. I knew that the final book in this series would be full of action and larger plot reveals, but I had no idea what I was about to experience. <br/><br/>This final book follows the beloved characters: Allie, Nick, and Mikey on their quest to protect the living world against Mary Hightower and her band of followers. Circumstances have changed and it is now evident that Mary is truly insane and all of our hero's seem to be defeated. Many new characters are introduced that nicely fit into the story. As I was reading this book Shusterman brought up many new plots which I wondered how he would resolve. And he did so beautifully. I was not disappointed by this book one ounce. It is incredibly unique and entertaining. I was stratified with the way it ended, and I am glad that I picked up the first book, even if it was only because my name is Allie."
